Terms of Service

Version 2026-08-01 · Business customers (barbershops)

Eligibility. United States only

NxtSeat is offered only to barbershops and booth renters with a place of business in the United States. By registering, you represent that your shop operates in the US. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement. We do not intentionally offer the service in the EU/UK or other regions.

Service

We provide online booking, client records, check-in tools, optional directory listing, email, and optional payment facilitation features. We are a software provider, not a barber, employer, or license verifier.

Your responsibilities

  • Accurate shop information and compliance with state barber/cosmetology rules.
  • Lawful use; no spam bookings, harassment, or illegal services.
  • Client-facing compliance: privacy notices to your clients, TCPA consent before SMS marketing, CAN-SPAM for promotional email you send through the platform.
  • You control client data; we process it per our DPA and your instructions.

Payments

  • Subscription: You pay NxtSeat via Stripe Billing for the SaaS plan.
  • Client payments (optional): Card payments may be processed by Stripe for your connected account; we may charge a small platform fee on card transactions as disclosed in the product. Venmo and Cash App flows are honor-system unless otherwise stated. We do not verify P2P transfers.
  • We are not a bank or money transmitter; funds flow through regulated payment partners.

Directory

If you opt in, your business name, address, and map location may appear on our public directory. You can disable listing in admin settings.

Referrals & trials

Referral credits and trials are described in-product and may change with notice.

Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES AND LIMIT LIABILITY AS ALLOWED BY LAW (see counsel for full limitation and indemnity sections).

Termination

Either party may terminate. On termination you may export data for a reasonable window; we may delete data subject to backup and legal retention requirements.
